We had a fantastic week. We hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

We experienced a first this week in the 3 years we have lived in Nevada; a snow day. Tuesday a snow storm hit Elko and the boys did not have school, Andy had a half day as all county offices were closed. It was a nice break and we got much done in anticipation of Thanksgiving. Andy cooked most of the afternoon and so the house was nice a warm.

We left Wednesday afternoon and while there were some snowy parts on the roads had a safe trip and got to Boise in about 4 hours. We stopped at Five Guys Burgers and Fries for dinner and really enjoyed the food. Thanksgiving day was nice. Gail's parents hosted 26 people and we enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with family.

We left Friday afternoon and made it back to Elko safely. Unfortunately we had quite a bit to get done this weekend before school and work begins Monday.

Saturday we left for Salt Lake City to attend the baby blessing for our good friends Daniel and Irene. We had a nice dinner with them and then settled in for the night. We awoke to a snow storm. As we were getting ready to leave the hotel we heard the cry of a little kitten under our car. We rescued him and felt bad so we let the hotel know we had him in the event someone comes looking for it. As of now he is with us in Elko. We will keep you posted.

We hope all is well with you.
