We had quite a week. Everyone got through it safely, just all very busy. The past three days have reminded us that spring may actually arrive. We have enjoyed sunny skies and temps in the 70's. Hopefully this will keep up.
Matthew and Nikolas returned to school after an enjoyable break. Matthew had a PT evaluation this week and he has shown some great progress. Nikolas continues to prepare for his chorus concert and we are all excited to hear him sing. They are counting down the end of school in 8 weeks.
Nikolas had opening day for little league this week and Andy was especially proud to see him in his Red Sox uniform. Unfortunately, the major league team has been causing him some serious heartburn, but that aside he was excited to see Nikolas in the uniform. He and Andy both bought new gloves and have been practicing at the local park. Nikolas has quite an arm.
Saturday, Nikolas and Andy worked on moving things from our old storage unit to the new. Nikolas made the comment "Dad, look at all of those giant CD'S." Once Andy stopped laughing uncontrollably, he explained those are not CD's but records. Nikolas' response "Oh, what is that." Sad to admit, but times have certainly changed.
Gail had a busy week between her cleaning, voice lessons and board meetings. She has settled into quite a routine. She had a first this week-sushi. A new sushi restaurant opened in Elko this week. She and Andy went for lunch and she admitted it wasn't bad.
Overall it was a great week. We hope the same is true for you.
